President Obama has now delivered his annual address to the nation and according to the Oil & Gas Journal Obama barely mentioned energy. They has gone through his speeches and summed energy related parts and probably it could be the following sentence that will be quoted:
“And today, America is No. 1 in oil and gas. America is No. 1 in wind power. Every 3 weeks, we bring online as much solar power as we did in all of 2008. And thanks to lower gas prices and higher fuel standards, the typical family this year should save $750 at the pump.”

The line about “lower gas prices” is not only Obama taking credit for something that has nothing to do with him, it also will turn out to be an unfortunate thing to brag about.
